BUCKHANNON -- In an unusual series of events, Buckhannon City Council voted Thursday to remove the Automatic License Plate Reader from a city police vehicle, then reconsidered and tabled the motion until late August.

Murder trial delayed

BUCKHANNON -- Another trial delay was granted in the case of a Buckhannon resident accused of paying for the murder of a man who had an affair with his wife.
Attorneys for Rodolfo "Chino" Villagomez Correa, 34, requested the continuance because they needed more time to prepare their defense.

Local marksmanship team heads to national competition

BUCKHANNON -- Members of the West Virginia Junior Marksmanship Team are at Camp Perry, Ohio this week for competition.
The West Virginia Junior Marksmanship Team is a competitive shooting program for youth and members have been preparing for months for the National Highpoint matches that will be held at Camp Perry.
