Airport Authority working on long-range plan

BUCKHANNON — Planning for five, 10 to 20 years out is on the table for the Buckhannon-Upshur Airport Authority.

City Recorder Rich Clemens, who is a member of the authority, gave a brief update at the Buckhannon City Council meeting Thursday.

“The Buckhannon-Upshur Airport Authority is in the process of developing a long-range plan,” he said.

Members are looking at both the land-side development plan focusing on buildings and the air-side development plan, looking at the runway.
