ELKINS — “This project has always been based around the needs and comfort of our patients,” said Mark Doak, chief executive officer of Davis Memorial Hospital.
Doak made that remark Wednesday afternoon during a press conference as
Davis Health System continues construction on its $13 million Outpatient Care Center. The center will serve as the anchor to Davis Memorial Hospital’s physician and outpatient care services.
The new medical building is being built adjacent to the DMH Emergency Department. The project will allow physician and outpatient services to be centralized in one area, creating a more comfortable and efficient patient experience.
“It is a project we are very excited about,” Doak said. “We are trying to provide something for patient convenience. It has always been our goal to provide the best possible quality and care to our patients in a modern facility.”
