BUCKHANNON — The City of Buckhannon was recently named one of the Best
Small Towns in the state by
WV Living magazine.
The magazine’s readers nominated and testified earlier this year as to why their hometown deserved the title of West Virginia’s best.
The Upshur County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, as well as other private citizens, submitted nominates on behalf of Buckhannon.
“We’re incredibly excited about our title as one of West Virginia’s Best Small Towns,” said Laura Meadows, the Upshur CVB executive director. “It’s an incredible honor for our community to receive the award. Buckhannon and Upshur County should be proud — we have amazing local citizens and businesses that create a vibrant town.”
