CHARLESTON — Matthew Brown missed a penalty kick in the 87th minute and the West Virginia Wesleyan College men’s soccer team dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 loss to rival Davis and Elkins College in the semifinals of the WVIAC tournament on Saturday.

According to the official statistics, there were more cards (12) than shots on goal (11), and Wesleyan finished the game with just nine men after two players were shown red and sent off in the final minute.
