GREENSBURG, Pa. — The Seton Hill Griffins’ third victory of the season over the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats ended the ‘Cats’ season in the opening round of the WVIAC Men’s Basketball Tournament.
The No. 7 seed Griffins defeated the 11th-seeded Bobcats 66-63 Monday, spoiling a career night from Wesleyan point guard Raymond Warren and the 17th double-double of the season from forward Kelsey Williams.
Warren led all scorers with a career-high 24 points and also turned in 10 rebounds and six assists. Williams, named to the All-WVIAC First Team for the second straight year prior to the tournament, scored 23 points and hauled down a season-high 18 rebounds.
