CLERMONT, Fla. — West Virginia Wesleyan’s Lady Bobcats split a pair of games here Friday on opening day of their spring break tour.
The Lady ‘Cats pounded out 10 hits in a 10-2 victory over the Cedarville (Ohio) Lady Yellow Jackets, but dropped a 6-5 decision to the Wilmington (Del.) Lady Wildcats despite owning a 11-7 advantage in the hitting department.
The action left coach Steve Warner’s Lady ‘Cats with a 4-2 record going into Saturday’s games with Felician (N.J.) and Stonehill (Mass.).
