SALEM, Va. — West Virginia Wesleyan’s Lady Bobcats were guilty of three errors in the sixth inning that led to two runs, and it cost them in a 6-4 loss to the Gannon (Pa.) Lady Golden Knights here Friday in opening-round play of the Salem (Va.) Tournament.
The defeat dropped the Lady ‘Cats to 13-6 going into Saturdy’s contests with the Millersville (Pa.) Lady Marauders and the Bloomsburg (Pa.) Lady Huskies.
They were to have taken on the Lock Haven (Pa.) Lady Eagles and the Kutztown (Pa.) Lady Bears Sunday.
