Bucs stay “right on schedule” in preseason

TENNERTON — With the second week of their preseason training camp now in full swing, the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers have suited up in full pads and remained “right on schedule” in their preparations for the 2013 football season.

After an opening week of practice in helmets and shoulder pads, the Bucs began full-contact drills Monday under first-year head coach Duane Stoeckle. While the team has practiced under cool, cloudy skies for much of their preseason camp so far, Stoeckle said he “definitely feels better” about the team’s conditioning now that the team has reached their second week of two-a-day practices.
