TENNERTON — After equalizing the game early in the second half, the Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Buccaneers saw a brief defensive lapse turn into the game-winning goal Saturday in a 2-1 loss to the Jefferson Lady Cougars.

That goal proved to be the difference in a game where B-U head coach Jackie Zuliani said her team “played pretty well, especially in the second half.”
