BUCKHANNON — The West Virginia Wesleyan College women’s soccer team remained undefeated at home with a 2-0 win over Concord’s Lady Mountain Lions on Saturday afternoon.

Concord created the first chance of the game in the second minute, when a cross wide on the left found Kari Simon, who volleyed over from 10 yards out.

Wesleyan thought they had scored in the sixth minute, after a deep free kick into the box from Megan McCoy was knocked into the goal by Rachel Ritchey, but she was deemed offside.
