TENNERTON — Nellie M. Hull, beloved mother and grandmother, 87, of Ripley, and formerly of Crawford, went to sleep and woke up with Jesus on the evening of Oct. 6, 2012. She was born on May 23, 1925, to the late John and Rosie Riffle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Willis Hull; one brother, Jacob “Bud” Riffle; and three sisters: Jessie Curry, Nadia Helmick and Reba McKisic.
She is survived by two daughters: Helen Bragg and husband Dana of Ripley and Martha Hefner and husband Mike of Crawford; three granddaughters: Amy Miller and husband Mark, Amanda Burford and husband Jon and Amber Haddox and husband Fred; and 5 1/2 half great-grandchildren: Zachary and Adam Miller, Abigail and Tyler Burford, Chase Horn and his soon-to-be-arriving sister.
She is also survived by her brother William “Ford” Riffle.
The family received friends from 4-8 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel.
The body will lie-in-state from 12:30-1 p.m., the funeral hour, today, Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at the Crawford United Methodist Church, with Pastor Doug Smailes officiating. Interment will follow in the Post Chapel Cemetery in Crawford.
