TENNERTON — Anita Mae Sayre Cutright, 57, of Rt. 1, French Creek, died at her home, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. She was born, Nov. 4, 1955, in Upshur County, a daughter of the late Donald R. and Mary J. Humphrey Cogar.
She was united in marriage on Oct. 2, 2008, to Lloyd Cutright, who survives.
She is also survived by one daughter, Whitney Dawn Sayre of French Creek; six brothers: Gerald and Rita Humphrey of Rock Cave, Ernie and Kim Cogar of French Creek, Donald and Leslie Cogar of Buckhannon, Charles and Donna Cogar of Selbyville, Dennis and Ginger Cogar of Rock Cave, Harold Cogar of Charleston; five sisters: Ruby and Gary Reed of Buckhannon, Opal and Albert Woodson of Selbyville, Lila Cogar and Rob Hull of Selbyville, Lois and Ed Mackey of Buckhannon, and Connie Cogar of Selbyville; and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Troy Sayre, her parents, three brothers: Stanley Cogar, James Humphrey, and Herbert K. Cogar; and one niece, Priscilla Gaines.
Anita enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and making quilts.
She loved her family and will be loved and sadly missed forever.
Friends were received at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, from 4-7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant Dale Community Church today, Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, where the body will lie in state from noon to 1 p.m., the funeral hour, with Pastor Terry Gower officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Dale Cemetery.
