GLENVILLE — After making a second-half run in a win over a WVIAC rival Thursday, the West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcats fell prey to a second-half surge against another conference foe Saturday.
Wesleyan shot 60 percent from the field in the second half Thursday in a home game against Alderson-Broaddus, and went on a 16-2 run in the second half to secure a 60-52 win over the Lady Battlers.
However, in Saturday’s road game at Glenville State, the host Lady Pioneers held a six-point halftime lead at 39-33 and cracked the game wide open with a 20-6 run mid-way through the second half.
