City wants to annex armory

BUCKHANNON — The City of Buckhannon is seeking to annex the National Guard armory and readiness center property along Brushy Fork Road.

Upshur County Administrator William Parker said state law requires a Class II legal ad in the local newspaper and a public hearing, which is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.

The minor boundary adjustment would include the West Virginia Armory National Guard location, Upshur County Wellness Complex and related property for utility right-of-way.
