Oak Hill outruns thin B-U lineup

TENNERTON — A short-handed lineup and a fast-paced opponent wore down the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers Saturday in a 73-31 loss to the Oak Hill Red Devils in non-conference basketball action.

B-U, playing without senior starters Aaron Anderson, Dalton Crislip and Jon McDaniels, started a trio of sophomores in their place and trailed by just four points, at 17-13, after one quarter of play. However, the Red Devils sprinted to a 40-21 halftime lead and allowed the Bucs only one field goal in the entire second half.
