TENNERTON — The Robert C. Byrd Eagles forced 23 turnovers and the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers gave up a season-high point total Thursday in Big Ten Conference basketball action, as the visiting Eagles beat the Bucs 75-45.
The Eagles turned a full-court pressure defense into 22 fast-break points and 52 points in the paint. The Eagles led 23-12 after one quarter of play, 40-23 at halftime and 59-32 through three quarters.
