Shooting struggles cost Lady Bucs in loss at RCB

CLARKSBURG — Scoring struggles continued for the Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Buccaneers in their fifth straight loss, a 44-26 defeat Friday at Robert C. Byrd.

B-U shot just 7-for-42 from the field and 6-for-16 from the free-throw line Friday, scoring fewer than 30 points for the third time this season. Through seven games, the Lady Bucs have allowed opponents only 40.4 points per game, but have only scored 30.9 points per game.
