James “Jim” Fallen

TENNERTON — James “Jim” Fallen, 78, of Ravenswood, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 in Parkersburg. He was born in Upshur County, on Nov. 16, 1934 and is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Geneva Crites Fallen and four brothers.

James is survived by his children, Debbie Ruth of Belpre, Ohio; Joyce McCoy of Belpre; Robin Starcher of Spencer; Jamie Fallen of Winfield; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and five sisters, Juanita Mustin, Mary Suder, Margie Hickman, Dorothy Zirkle and Anna Mae Baxa.

He loved life, his family and was an adoring father that was loved and will be missed by all.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at the Tomblyn Whitescarver Funeral Chapel in Buckhannon, where services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
