Little Bucs come up short in double-OT

WESTON — Coach Travis Foster’s Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School Little Bucs ran into some tough luck and lost a pair of varsity clashes here last week in the Robert L. Bland Holiday Hoopla Tournament.

His Little Bucs got off to a slow start in their opener and fell to Gilmer County’s Titans by a 45-31 count last Wednesday.

And they dropped a hard-fought double-overtime decision to Washington Irving’s Hilltoppers in the consolation contest Friday.
