The Upshur County Sheriff's Department has arrested Tony Herndon, 45, of Buckhannon, after he allegedly left a threatening voicemail at the Upshur County Board of Education office on Thursday that referenced the town in Connecticut where a shooter killed 26 people in December.
According to the file in the magistrate clerk's office, "Herndon said that if he didn't get his rights and privileges reinstated that the Board of Education knows what happened in Newtown, Conn.”
Herndon was arrested for threats of terrorist acts, a felony, and arraigned before Magistrate Mike Coffman, who set bond at $125,000.
