BUCKHANNON — The Buckhannon detachment of the West Virginia State Police is investigating the theft of several hundreds of dollars worth of items from two hunting camps.
Cpl. T.A. Menendez, the investigating officer, said two campers were broken into in the Hemlock area. Both crimes were reported on Friday, Dec. 28.
Hunting gear reported stolen includes ammunition, a game camera and hunting knives. In one, a 32-inch Element brand flat-screen television was removed. A set of Motorola handheld radios was also taken.
