Lady Bucs struggle without leading scorer at Preston

KINGWOOD — Playing without their leading scorer for the second straight game, the Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Buccaneers struggled offensively Wednesday in a 52-27 loss to the host Preston Lady Knights.

B-U forward Kelsey Hinzman missed her second straight game due to a lingering illness, as did reserve forward Haley Ware. The short-handed Lady Bucs scored just one point in the first quarter of play and trailed 29-13 at halftime and 42-19 through three quarters of play.
