TENNERTON — The Preston Knights built a 19-point halftime lead over the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers in junior varsity basketball action Tuesday and maintained that advantage in the second half of a 46-27 win.
Preston patiently executed their offense and got scoring contributions from six players in the first half Tuesday, building a 13-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 23-4 advantage at halftime. The two teams played to a 23-23 tie in the second half.
