PHILIPPI — The Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Buccaneers showed no ill effects of a week-long layoff in Wednesday’s outing, as they turned in their top shooting performance of the season and won their second straight game in a 52-30 defeat of Philip Barbour.
Six B-U players, including all five starters, made scoring contributions in the Lady Bucs’ most lopsided win of the season. B-U shot a sizzling 65 percent from the field on 24-for-37 shooting, while only committing nine turnovers on the night.
