Two B-U wrestlers win Big Ten titles

WESTON — Led by a pair of tournament champions and seven other wrestlers finishing in the top six in their respective weight classes, the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers finished fourth among 13 teams competing at the Big Ten Championships wrestling tournament.

B-U juniors Dakota Linger and Seth Cutright both reeled off three straight wins at the two-day tournament — originally scheduled for Feb. 1-2 at Bridgeport, but postponed to last Wednesday and Thursday Lewis County due to snow — and improved their identical season records to 33-5.
