TENNERTON — The Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Buccaneers held a two-point lead heading into the second half of a physical, low-scoring Big Ten Conference basketball battle with the Bridgeport Lady Indians Wednesday evening.
But the visitors from Bridgeport —the No. 2 ranked team in Class AA — blew the game wide open in the second half, making a 17-0 run that stretched across nearly eight minutes in the third and fourth quarters and pulling away for a 38-24 win.
