WESTON — Seven Buckhannon-Upshur wrestlers qualified for the 2013 WVSSAC Wrestling Championships and two B-U juniors won regional titles Saturday at the Class AAA Region II Championships.
B-U juniors Dakota Linger at 126 pounds and Daniel Nolte at 220 won three straight matches in their respective brackets Saturday, earning their first career regional titles. Linger and Nolte led the Bucs to a third-place team finish and the Bucs equaled their total of state qualifiers from the 2012 season.
