BUCKHANNON — It’s official: the selling, distribution, manufacturing or possessing for use of synthetic drugs or bath salts in the City of Buckhannon will soon be prohibited.
The Buckhannon City Council passed Ordinance No. 370 unanimously after a second and final reading during their March 7 meeting.
The ordinance will go into effect April 6.
Mayor Kenny Davidson called to order a public hearing for the ordinance prior to the city council meeting. No one spoke on behalf or against the ordinance and Davidson closed the hearing.
