Bond reduction denied

BUCKHANNON — The man arrested on three separate counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian waived the preliminary hearing for one of those counts in Upshur County Magistrate Court Wednesday.

Margel Tenney, 57, of Rock Cave, appeared before Magistrate Mike Coffman with his attorney David Orndorff for a preliminary hearing on the most recent count, which accused Tenney of allegedly having sex with a juvenile victim that resulted in her pregnancy.

Along with waiving the preliminary hearing, Tenney also filed a motion to reduce his bond.
