NUTTER FORT — Robert Martin Lewis Sr., 72, of Lost Creek passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at his residence of a sudden illness.
He was born in Wolf Summit, on Sept. 2, 1940, the only son of the late Virginia E. Sandy Lewis.
Mr. Lewis is survived by one son, Robert Lewis Jr. and wife Connie J. of Buckhannon; one daughter, Kim Lough and husband John of Lost Creek; the mother of his children, Connie M. Lewis of Lost Creek; four grandchildren, Kayla Marie Nutt and husband Josh, Shannon Lewis, John Lough Jr. and Brooke Lough; one great-grandchild, Lucas Robert Nutt; and one sister, Jean Swiger of Clarksburg.
In addition to his children, grandchildren and sister, he is also survived by his significant other, Robin Stark of Lost Creek.
He was retired as owner and operator of Lewis Construction and Mining.
Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 3 to 7:30 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. Saturday to conclude visitation with the Reverend J. R. Dean presiding.
Per Mr. Lewis request, cremation services will be held.
