BUCKHANNON — Members of the Upshur County Development Authority heard more about a facility projected to have a major impact on the local community at its annual meeting Monday.
The West Virginia Army National Guard Buckhannon readiness center and adjacent convention center space has been under construction since a groundbreaking in October 2012.
The facility will be home to the 601st Engineer Company, the 1935th Contracting Team and the 229th Engineer Detachment, according to previous articles.
