BUCKHANNON — Victor Ray Scott, age 62, of Elyria, Ohio died Monday, September 9, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph’s in Elyria. He was born Nov. 7, 1950 in Buckhannon, W.Va., a son of the late Willard and Genive Tenney Scott.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Steve Scott; two brothers, Franklin and Richard Scott and one sister, Ruth Sothen.
He is survived by one son, Allen Scott of Elyria; two granddaughters, Ariel Scott of Florida and Page Scott of Ohio; one grandson, Travis Hannock of Ohio; three brothers, Gene and Willard Scott of Buckhannon and William Scott of California and one sister, Rosemary Tenney of Buckhannon.
Mr. Scott was an auto worker for Ford Motor Co. from which he retired with 31 years of service. Friends will be received today, Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 from noon until 2 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home where a funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating.
